Today’s layout is from my first scrapbooking retreat with Scrapbooking from the Inside Out.
Rachel had a few different instructors come and walk us through a layout step-by-step. One of the teachers, Stacy Cohen, encouraged us to document a journey we’d been on or a journey we’d like to take.
If you remember from my big dreams list, Fiji is a place I would love to visit someday. I used a picture from our trip to Kauai to document the beach feel. The hidden journaling, about our journey of working and raising a family and, hopefully, being able to go to Fiji someday is hidden behind the photo.
I love the flower clusters and even the blingy jewels and butterfly. This is not my usual style but it definitely has a very vintage, dreamy feel and that’s what this page is all about.
Both of the pages I shared this week are from our Places We Go album. This album holds layouts I’ve made about places we’ve been, both near and far. It holds layouts about where we’ve lived, and layouts, like this one, about where we’d like to go.
I encourage you to document the places you go. Document a journey you’re currently on or a journey you’d like to take. Reflect back on past trips and the effect they’ve had on your life.
What kind of journey are you currently on? Are you preserving those memories? How? Let me know in the comments.
I am grateful for you today. Thank you for spending a moment with me.
