In the Take a Moment series I encourage you to take a moment for memory keeping and mindfulness. I add in some randomness, share new things I’m learning, and let you know about interesting things I find along the way. Enjoy!

Repeating my words from last week. Inspired by Karen Walrond.

Celebrating this historic week. SCOTUS finally got a few things right.

My 7yo and I have been reading this together at night. A peaceful, relaxing way to connect at night before bed.

Elise has the best ideas. This book is a gorgeous way to document those fleeting toddler moments.

What looks to be a great course on self-exploration from one of my faves, Liz Lamoreaux. FREE and starts July 6.

This fun new Disney app has been bringing some Joy ;-)  into my life and into the lives of everyone with whom I regularly text.

Her past albums have helped me shed tears I didn’t even know I was holding in. This album, her lyrics, and her free-flowing power is fueling me right now.

If this guy can sit, then anyone can.

And finally Take a Moment for some desktop wallpaper inspiration.     Hi Mariana, What a lovely post! I am a true believer in mindfulness and the importance of living in the present moment (meditation has helped me immensely with this). Thank you for sharing your moments!

    That Disney app is adorbs!!! I love the idea of taking a moment to record my thoughts/impressions/successes of the week. I’ll probably take baby steps and use my planner, but it’s a start.

      Yes the Disney app is great and FREE! =) Using your planner is a great idea! I often do the same thing. I also use and love The 5-minute journal to record moments of gratitude and highlights of each day. Thank you for reading!

      Me too! I saw her live at The Wiltern here in LA a few years ago before she got huge. She puts so much energy into her shows. Hoping to see her again on her next tour. I love Pinterest too. My favorite thing is the beautiful quotes and images. Thank you for reading!

    What a wonderful list! I’m so inspired by Elise’s toddler moments. I need to get working on something similar. Any helpful reminders about tuning into the moment and slowing down are so important.
