Inspired living through mindfulness, creativity, and by embracing vulnerability

Take a Moment

In the Take a Moment series I encourage you to take a moment for memory keeping and mindfulness. I add in some randomness, share new things I’m learning, and let you know about interesting things I find along the way. Enjoy!

As a former community organizer turned stay-at-home-mom this hits on so many levels.

A great reminder on what mindful parenting is in real life.

Scrapbooking guru Jennifer Wilson is teaching at Big Picture Classes.

The Dalai Lama’s 80th Birthday Celebration is being held at the University of California, Irvine in July. Looking forward to hearing His Holiness speak on awakening compassion and on “the significance of education in advancing universal human values.”

I got so many good recommendations from readers of my podcast post. So far I’ve added two new podcasts to my Podcast feed: The Good Life Project and The Sarah R. Bagley Podcast.

I’m an introvert and I’m joining The Quiet Revolution. (via Susannah Conway)

And finally Take a Moment for some desktop wallpaper inspiration. As part of this series I’m pairing a quote, curated from my Wise Words board on Pinterest, with one of the amazing images from Unsplash. Click the image above, then right click to save it to your computer and use it as your desktop wallpaper.

Have a great weekend! Thank you for taking a moment with me.
