In the Take a Moment series I encourage you to take a moment for memory keeping and mindfulness. I add in some randomness, share new things I’m learning, and let you know about interesting things I find along the way. Enjoy!
Starting out on another serious note this week, the Sandra Bland story has been weighing on my heart. As someone who’s twice lived through traumatic loss and grief, the peace and poise with which her mother speaks about her beautiful daughter in this interview brought tears to my eyes. #sandrabland #sayhername
Love this offline challenge by stationery company, Kikki K. This Australia-based business integrates mindfulness into their company culture and even hosts Mindfulness workshops at their brick-and-mortar locations.
My friend Amanda has been cooking up some delicious Asian recipes. If you’re into Asian food or are an adventurous cook be sure to check her out.
Another great round-up of coloring books for grown-ups. (Here’s the first list and the bookmarks from a few weeks ago.)
I’ve been listening to this meditation podcast for a few weeks now and this is my favorite episode so far. Amanda’s personality is very relatable and her work and intention is really inspiring.
Caught a glimpse of this beautiful meditation journal on Instagram. Watch for it.
And finally Take a Moment for some desktop wallpaper inspiration. As part of this series I’m pairing a quote, curated from my Wise Words board on Pinterest, with one of the amazing images from Unsplash. Click the image above, then right click to save it to your computer and use it as your desktop wallpaper.
Have a great weekend! Thank you for taking a moment with me.

have you checked out the Women’s Center for Creative Work? I hear that they have coloring meet ups.

I just checked out their site. It looks really interesting. They even host a mindfulness meditation group! They’re a bit far for me but I’ll be sure to share with other friends in the area. Thanks for the heads up Kristen! =)
